There are some important differences:

The lenses are much larger in terms of technical quality camcorder. Bullets are much larger picture in professional camcorders. These two elements alone a long way towards better lighting and video capture inside. The work-around for consumer cams, the relatively low targets, and have compared bullets image is to shine.

Many cameras can capture video pro-grade different ways of progressive frames (instead of interlaced frames).

Most of the per-year for DV or HDV camcorder format. Often, that means miniDV tape, but it can also mean an external hard drive or flash memory. These types are less compressed storage of video files. This usually means miniDV tape in the consumer environment. This contrasts with highly compressed MPEG2 or AVCHD compression consumers really anemia, internal hard drive or flash memory camcorder ... and it is a compression format based on a very high VOB DVD camcorders. Video compression = discarded video data of lower quality video.

There is no stability problem. If the camera professionally installed on the shoulder, is on a tripod, SiderBrace, bedroom membrane are attached Steadycam / Steadicam device or something to that effect. Pretty hand, never alone.

Other features include easy to open manually, shutter speed, gain, zoom capabilites of neutral density filters, and the impact on video.

Manual audio control and audio connection is not directly to the video quality, but are on most camcorders university level.

There are more, but it is a good start ...
